   Do research about the market & product that you want to include in your online business. Be sure what you want to market has a demand, and that you can both easily and financially reach your potential clients.

   Take the time to study other successful online businesses and learn from how they manage their business.

   Be sure to have a plan of what you want to accomplish in your business and how you can reach your goal. Be specific and clear about what the accomplishments are; ie: how much time & money you want to invest to build your online company.

   Build credibility. Be sure to put all of your contact information in a highly visible area on your website, including phone, email, and regular mail. If you are only reachable via email, state so on your site so potential clients or customers will know this up front.

   Keep in touch with any prospects and current clients. Use email mailing- lists generate weekly or monthly updates for your business.
